A press meeting by the Swedish Ski Federation set the stage to announce the selections for the Swedish Cross-Country National Team for next season.

14 women and men have been selected into the A-Team to represent Sweden. A full focus lies on the Nordic World Ski Championships coming up in Planica (SLO) in February 2023. Into the very successful womens team (Team Cup winner 2022), Anna Dyvik returns to the national team, after having had to spend the past summer's preparation to qualify for the Olympic Winter Games by herself. With her grand achievements, the 27 year-old deserves her spot back in the elite team.

2022/23 could become the best season in the career's of many Swedish skiers. Maja Dahlqvist, Overall Sprint World Cup winner 2022, hopes to return to the World Cup in a leader's position again as well as Jonna Sundling, who charged in Sprint races after having had to let her injured thumb heal up in the first part of last season.

In the Distance competitions, of course Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson will take the leading roles and we are excited on what's to come.

An era came to an end this spring when Charlotte Kalla announced to retire from professional skiing. But with the new set up in the team, the path points into a very successful direction and we wish all athletes best of luck and a injury free preparation season.
