Lillehammer - 20km Mass Start replaces Skiathlon

FIS Nordic World Cups Lillehammer (NOR) - Snow Control
After the official Snow Control for the Lillehammer World Cup weekend from 2nd to 4th December, all competitions for the Nordic weekend were confirmed.
The race schedule in Cross-Country sees an adjustment for Sunday, 4th December. The originally scheduled Skiathlon gets replaced with a 20km Mass Start in Classic technique as it is less demanding in terms of width of course trail, needed amount of snow and course preparation.
As in the season 2021/22, the competitions will take place in the Biathlon venue that is located right next to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium.
