Moguls & Aerials JWSC cancelled

The FIS Moguls and Aerials Junior World Ski Championships 2020, originally scheduled to take place in Chiesa in Valmalenco (ITA) from April 3-6, have been cancelled due to restrictions imposed by the Italian government following the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19.
Located in the province of Sondrio, Chiesa in Valmalenco has been affected by the recent unprecedented action by the Italian government of putting all of the Lomardy region under quarantine to aid in their efforts to slow the spread the COVID-19 virus. With the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte signing a decree severely limiting movement in and out of the region, the organisers were left with no choice but to call off the event.
It seems unlikely that a replacement venue can be found at this late stage of the season. However, an announcement will be made at a later date should a solution arise.
