The first FIS Snowboard Cross and Ski Cross World Cup competitions originally sheduled for 28-30 October and 4-5 November, respectively in Les Deux Alpes, France have to be postponed due to lack of snow.

The FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup competition has now been moved to 02-03 December, leaving the organizers with additional five weeks time to produce the snow and get the venue ready to welcome the world's best snowboard cross athletes to Les Deux Alpes.

The ski cross competition in Les Deux Alpes unfortunately has been cancelled, and therefore Val Thorens sheduled for 07-09 December will be the season opening race for the ski cross circuit.

The French Ski Federation and the local organising committee are looking forward to returning to the FIS Ski Cross World Cup calendars in the 2023/24 season.
