Tom Lubitz ends his career

German Nordic Combined talent Tom Lubitz announced the end of his active career on his social media pages.
“I have decided to end my career a few weeks back and instead of going into the why and how, I’d like to say thanks instead. First and foremost to my parents who supported me from day one, my two girls and my grandmother and grandfather. Another big thank you goes to my employer, the federal police. It was the best decision for me, as I have a save future now.”
Lubitz started his Nordic Combined career in 2009 with a first start in an Alpencup event in Winterberg and debuted in the World Cup in Schonach in 2015. He had two more starts in the World Cup in the winter of 2017/18.
