COC: Victory for Hansen, maiden podium for Malacinski

Gyda Westvold Hansen is also the winner of the second Individual Continental Cup competition in Lillehammer (NOR) on Saturday.

The Norwegian took the lead after the Ski Jumping round on the HS98, with the furthest jump of the day on 92.5 meters (128.1 pts).

Like on Friday, the second place after jumping went to Anne Häckel from Germany with 90.5 meters (119.5 pts), 34 seconds behind last seasons dominator from Norway. 
Rank three was again taken by Austrian Annalena Slamik (90.5 m, 114.2 pts), who went into the race 56 seconds after Hansen, while Ida Marie Hagen (89 m, 109.4 pts) placed fourth, 1:15min behind.

Hansen defended her lead over the 5km course and reached the finish line 1:26 min ahead of her team mate Ida Marie Hagen, who fought her way up to the podium one more time. Annika Malacinski from the United States, who was 9th after jumping, showed a strong performance on cross-country skis and completed the podium with a 3rd place for the first time in her career.
