After a break, the teams of Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic will return to the World Cup in Willingen this weekend.
The ski jumpers of Kazakhstan will make their first appearance in the World Cup this winter in Willingen. So far it was not possible for the team to compete because it would have been too complicated or even impossible to got permission to travel to the countries where the competitions were held so far.
Now it finally worked for Willingen and it also should for the rest of the winter, Sabirzhan Muminov and Danil Vassiliev will be competing this weekend.

The Czech team is back - Koudelka needs surgery
After some time of training and a camp in Oberstdorf, the Czech team will also be competing again in Willingen. But the team of Frantisek Vaculik will have to do without Roman Koudelka, who has to undergo knee surgery. This means that the season is already over for the five-time World Cup winner.

"Of course, it's a shame that I will miss the rest of the season and also the World Championships, but I try to remain positive. I've had a weird feeling in my knee for a while and this surgery probably had to be done sooner or later. It might sound a bit strange, but I always had some sort of health problems before the Olympic seasons. I think that this was all of my bad luck for the next two years and I'll be at 100 % again for next winter and the Olympic Games", said Koudelka.
