On the second day of the Continental Cup in Planica (SLO), Joacim Oedegaard Bjoereng of Norway could claim his second win this season.

Because the weather conditions were again difficult and the first round had already taken more than two hours due to the changing and strong wins, the jury has decided to cancel the final round today.
And so Bjoereng took the win after only one round with the longest jump of the day of 136 m and a today of 147.3 points.

Domen Prevc posted a jump of 132 m and repeat his second place from Saturday's competition with 145.4 points, the third place went to Bjoereng's teammate Benjamin Oestvold, who jumped on 130.5 m and scored a total of 141.1 points.

Behind Philipp Aschenwald of Austria in fourth, three ski jumpers of Germany followed in fifth, sixth, and seventh with David Siegel, Andreas Wellinger, and Kilian Maerkl.

Austria's Michael Hayboeck, who won the first competition in Planica on Saturday evening, came in eighth this team, after failing to make the cut for the final round yesterday, Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes achieved a good result today in ninth, Slovenia's Tilen Bartol was tenth.

With his win today, his fifth in the COC, Joacim Oedegaard Bjoereng now took the lead in the overall ranking with 878 points. Ulrich Wohlgenannt is now second with 798 points, Thomas Lackner follows in third with 638 points.

The next two competitions of the Continental Cup will be held next weekend in Lahti (FIN).
