Robert Johansson underwent back surgery

Due to back problems, he has been struggling with for quite some time, Robert Johansson now underwent back surgery in order to be fully fit for the preparation for the new season.

"These problems have already affected me negatively in the past two seasons. After an MRI scan and conversations with the doctors, physical therapists, and other specialists we came to the conclusion, that surgery was the right thing to do. It was an endoscopic disc surgery. It went well and I already feel an improvement", said the Norwegian.

After this successful surgery, the 31-year-old silver medalist of the last World Championships is already looking forward to the upcoming tasks. "Now I'm really looking forward to starting the training so I can be 100 % ready for an eventful next winter."
