The USA's Chloe Kim - PyeongChang 2018 halfpipe gold medalist, five-time winner on the World Cup, and four-time X Games champion - became the first woman to stomp a frontside double cork 1080 in the halfpipe this past weekend in training at Saas Fe (SUI).

Still just 18 years old, Kim has been checking "never been done" tricks and combos off of her list for years, including a back-to-back 1080 combo that became the signature of her halfpipe run on her way to winning Olympic gold. With the addition of this new trick it seems safe to say that her status as the queen of the halfpipe world is a lock for the foreseeable future.
