FIS President Johan Eliasch recently met with IOC President-elect Kirsty Coventry in Lausanne for a productive and forward-looking discussion on the future of the Olympic Movement. The meeting highlighted the strong relationship between FIS and the IOC, and reaffirmed FIS’s role as the largest winter sports federation.
Key topics included the growth of youth participation in winter sports, sustainability initiatives, and innovation across FIS disciplines to ensure they remain exciting and relevant for future generations of athletes and fans.
