Historic Chilean success highlights Corralco ski and snowboard cross races

More than 70 athletes from eight nations competed in world-class conditions, with the Canadian team dominating the podium and Chilean riders celebrating a historic achievement.
In Ski Cross, World Champion Reece Howden secured victory in the men’s final, while India Sherret, making a strong return from injury, topped the women’s category — underlining Canada’s strength in the discipline. For Chile’s Aymara Viel and Mateo Racloz, the weekend ended in style as they claimed the overall South American Cup titles, a perfect conclusion to their remarkable continental season.
The Snowboard Cross races were equally competitive, with Evan Bichon taking the men’s win and Audrey Mcmaniman and Lara Walsh standing out in the women’s event.
