Seiser Alm

If there's one thing FIS is looking for when partnering up with a new venue on the FIS Snowboard World Cup slopestyle tour it's freestyle pedigree, and Italy's Seiser Alm has just the kind of rich history FIS likes to see.

With a terrain park boasting a continuous line of 1.5kms in length, with over 70 features and obstacles included in that stretch, Seiser Alm was voted the best park in Italy for a few times at the Italian Freeski Awards.

All of which is to say, Seiser Alm has the slopes and the shovels to build the type of world-class features we all want to watch the world's best snowboarders get down to business on.

Set in the stunning backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dolomites mountain range, and with a rich competition history that includes successful Europa Cup slopestyle competitions as well as junior worlds contests on the books, Seiser Alm was certain to be a perfect fit on the slopestyle World Cup circuit in the 2016-17 season.

And following a perfect World Cup host debut, the South Tyrolean resort is back hosting the Slopestyle World Cup finals.

The ski resort is one of the 15 most family-friendly resorts in Italy, is blessed with 300 sunny days per year and one of the world's most stunning sceneries.

Part of the UNESCO world heritage, Seiser Alm provides 60 kilometres of slopes, with most of them addressing beginners and intermediates.

However, directly connected with Groeden, the total ski area features some 175 skiable kilometres.
