AIRDRENALINE will bring the elite of the Big Air competition back to Innsbruck from 26-28 November, 2026, where Innsbruck’s Bergisel will host the FIS Freeski and Snowboard Big Air World Cup for the very first time.

AIRDRENALINE kicks off a 2026/27 FIS Park & Pipe World Cup season that will see four Big Air, six Halfpipe, and four Slopestyle competitions taking place for both the Freeskiers and the Snowboarders, as well as the Montafon 2027 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle, and Freeski World Championships in March.

International Lineup

Numerous athletes have already announced their participation for the international field. They include Birk Ruud (NOR), Tormod Frostad (NOR), and Troy Podmilsak (USA) in the men's freeski competition; Kirsty Muir (GBR), Megan Oldham (CAN), Mathilde Gremaud (SUI), and Flora Tabanelli (ITA) in the women's freeski; Su Yiming (CHN), Kira Kimura (JPN), Eli Bouchard (CAN), Valentino Guseli (AUS), Hiroto Ogiwara (JPN), and Romain Allemand (FRA) in the men's snowboard competition; as well as Kokomo Murase (JPN), Mari Fukada (JPN), Lily Dhawornvej (USA), and Meila Stalker (AUS) in the women's snowboard.

For Austrian snowboarder Anna Gasser, AIRDRENALINE will be one of the final stops of her career. The 35-year-old two-time Olympic gold medallist will compete in her upcoming final season focusing on selected events in Austria, with AIRDRENALINE at the Bergisel being one of them.

Competitors from Austria

Competing for the host Austrian squad will be freeskiers Matej Svancer, Hannes Rudigier, Julius Forer, Luis Resch, Jakob Buchmeier, Noah Schallert, Lara Wolf and Anna Rauchmann. For the snowboarders it will be Gasser leading the way, along with the likes of Clemens Millauer and Eric Dovjak, and Hanna Karrer.

Adrenaline-Fueled Freestyle Action Against an Alpine-Urban Backdrop

On Friday, 27 November, the women's and men's Freeski competitions are on the schedule while Saturday, 28 November, belongs to the Snowboard elite. The announced competitors represent the international peak of freeskiing and snowboarding sports and underline the high athletic caliber of the new World Cup event in Innsbruck.

Although final starting lists will only be confirmed during competition week, the AIRDRENALINE FIS Freeski and Snowboard Big Air World Cups promise to bring a top-tier selection of the best riders to one of the most legendary venues in Big Air history.

The new event also offers a special stage for the athletes. The Bergisel is closely tied to the history of international freestyle sports, combining athletic tradition, urban culture, and spectacular big-air moments.

"The Bergisel has been synonymous with top-level sports and passionate fans for decades. Having the FIS Freeski and Snowboard World Cup take place here together with AIRDRENALINE is extremely exciting—not only for us at FIS Park & Pipe, but also for Freeski and Snowboard fans worldwide, as the next generation of riders gets the opportunity to show their best at one of the most iconic venues in snow-sports history. We look forward to welcoming world-class athletes and fans to competitions that are athletically inspiring and emotionally engaging while providing a positive, unforgettable experience for everyone," said Roby Moresi, FIS Snowboard Park & Pipe Contest Director.

Supporting Program with Live Acts

Alongside the athletic program, AIRDRENALINE combines live music and urban entertainment. K.I.Z and SSIO will perform on Friday, while Bonez MC & RAF Camora and Badmómzjay take the stage on Saturday.

"AIRDRENALINE combines top-level sports with live music and urban culture. Exactly this mix is what we want to offer Innsbruck and its audience. This year's acts create a program that goes far beyond the competition. We look forward to two exciting days where our audience can expect an adrenaline-pumping program," summarizes Lars-Oliver Vogt, President Live Nation Brand Partnership & Media GSA.
