Episode one – Federica Brignone: Inside the mind of the Snow Tiger - “I just wanted to reach my limit”
Few stories better sum up the wild, intoxicating and utterly unpredictable ride that is elite Alpine ski racing than that of Federica Brignone, the sport’s Snow Tiger.
In the space of just a few months, Italy’s most successful female World Cup skier of all time – an athlete who dominated the World Cup and World Championship podiums last season – has gone from the face of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games to battling her body just to make it back on to her skis.
And here in Alpine Pulse’s opening episode, Brignone talks to Fellows about her fateful decision to compete in April’s Italian National Championships, she opens up on the realities of recovering from her broken bones, and she unveils her chances of making it back in time for her once-in-a-generation home Olympic Games.
Add on revelations about what life on tour is really like, how her childhood in the Valle de Aosta shaped her as a person and as an athlete, plus what her relationships with her biggest rivals are really like, and it’s clear: Alpine Pulse - Unplugged is unmissable!
