VENUE LAHTI

Lahti is a city of 120,000 residents and a centre for a region of 200,000 people. It has the best of both worlds: the attractiveness, intimate cosiness and originality of a small town, yet the services, efficiency and logistics of a major city.
Lahti occupies an ideal logistic location in the centre of Southern Finland. Lahti is only an hour away from the capital Helsinki region and Helsinki-Vantaa international airport. Once you arrive in the city, everything is within walking distance.
The industrial city of Lahti has reinvented itself as one of the leading event cities in Finland. Winter Sports is a great part of city’s identity. Lahti has hosted FIS Nordic World Ski Championships a world-record seven times. The annual World Cup event, known as the Lahti Ski Games, has been organised since 1923. Lahti Ski Games remain one of the biggest winter-festivals, attracting tens of thousands of spectators from near and far.

Lahti is also known internationally for its environmental and design expertise, alongside high-quality cultural services. Yearly thousands of music lovers beyond genres gather in Lahti Sibelius Hall and other venues, indoor and outdoor.

Our city of Lahti: it’s easy to live here, feel it and experience it. We warmly welcome you to come do it as well!
