Johannes Høsflot Klæbo did it!

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo and Alexander Bolshunov both had their eyes set on taking the big crystal globe home today. Along upfront came Alex Harvey, the Canadian superstar from Québec. His mind was all about racing his last internaional World Cup competition. And what a spectacular race this was!

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo went into the race with a 0:52 second margin to Alexander Bolshunov. Alex Harvey followed the strong Russian distance expert with a gap of just 1 second. Bolshunov and Harvey followed up with Klæbo in no time and the trio started the countdown for the titles.

On the last uphill before the final descent into the stadium, Klæbo stepped away from his persecutors and ended on the first rank of todays 15km Pursuit race - and ensuring him the win of the overall World Cup title!

Harvey fought Bolshunov on the finish line on a spectacular sprint and won by 0.1 seconds to the Russian.

In the Overall World Cup ranking, Bolshunov wins silver, exactly 100 points behind Klæbo. A well deserved third rank on the overall podium goes to Sjur Røthe from Norway. Røthe additionally brings home silver from the distance World Cup which he wins with 306 point behind Alexander Bolshunov and 45 points before Martin Johnsrud Sundby (NOR).
