With a remarkable enthusiasm and passion for the sport, Sebastian Eisenlauer entered the competitive world of Cross-Country skiing at a young age. The talented 31 year-old national team member from the Allgäu celebrated early success with the victory at the European Youth Olympic Festival in 2007. After the JWSC in 2009, Eisenlauer completed his first World Cup competition in Düsseldorf in 2010. At the next Olympic term, Sebastian started off his first Olympic Winter Games at Sochi 2014. After four Olympic starts, 12 competitions at World Ski Championships and 131 World Cup competitions, Sebastian sets his focus on new projects in life.

“That’s it. An incredible time comes to an end and it feels like the right time to move along new paths. Every race was worth the step and from every stage of my career, I find people that I can call friends now still. Thank you to everyone who joined and supported me on this journey”.
