Olympic Halfpipe champion Yuto Totsuka (JPN) dominated the men’s field at the last Halfpipe World Cup of the 2025/26 FIS Park and Pipe season in Silvaplana (SUI) on Saturday to win the individual and overall Crystal Globe trophies.

In the women’s event, Maddie Mastro (USA) claimed victory on Saturday to end her season on a positive note after finishing 12th at the recent Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games in February.

Totsuka topped the 14-man final on Saturday with his first-run score of 94.00 ahead of runner-up Valentino Guseli (AUS) on 91.00.

The USA’s Chase Blackwell was third on 88.75.

Totsuka began his winning run with a switch backside double 1260 mute, then a cab double 1080 truck driver, a frontside double 1260 tailgrab, a backside 900 mute, to end on a frontside double 1440 indy in his last hit.

“I’m happy to win this last competition of the season,” Totsuka said.

“I’m happy that I got two Crystal Globes. It’s insane.”

Totsuka’s victory on Saturday is his third World Cup win and fifth top-three finish of the 2025/26 Park and Pipe season after he topped the field at the Sapporo Open earlier in March.

The 24-year-old also won the Buttermilk Halfpipe World Cup in January before claiming gold at Milano Cortina 2026 in February. Before that, the 24-year-old was runner-up at the Copper and Secret Garden World Cup events in December.

Guseli’s second-place finish on Saturday is his fifth Halfpipe World Cup podium since December, when he was third behind Totsuka in Copper. Guseli then went on to win the Calgary World Cup in January and place third at the Laax Open.

Blackwell’s performance on Saturday is the 27-year-old’s second career World Cup podium from 39 starts, and marks the U.S. rider’s first top-three World Cup result since 2023.

With his victory on Saturday, Totsuka topped the men’s Halfpipe standings on 460 points, as well as the men’s overall Park and Pipe standings on 496 points.

Totsuka previously won the men’s Halfpipe Globe for the 2020/21 season, as well as back-to-back Globe trophies for the 2018/19 and the 2017/18 seasons.

In the women’s field, last season’s Halfpipe Crystal Globe winner Maddie Mastro (USA) topped Saturday’s eight-woman final with her second-run score of 85.00.

Mastro’s winning run pushed team-mate Madeline Schaffrick’s score of 78.25 into second place, while Spain’s Queralt Castellet Ibanez was third on 71.75.

Mastro said Saturday’s win meant a lot after a difficult season.

“This season had a lot of lows, and a lot of highs, and this one is nice,” said the 26-year-old.

It’s nice to end on a high, you never want to end on a low. I’m proud that I made it on a high.Maddie Mastro (USA)

Mastro’s Silvaplana victory marks the 26-year-old’s second career World Cup win after the U.S. rider won the Secret Garden World Cup in December 2024.

It also marks Mastro’s first top-three World Cup performance since last season when she was second in Calgary in February 2025.

Schaffrick’s runner-up result in Silvaplana is her second World Cup podium this season after the 31-year-old was second at the U.S. Grand Prix at Aspen’s Buttermilk resort in January, which earned her a spot on the U.S. team for Milano Cortina 2026.

For Castellet Ibanez, her third place in Silvaplana is the 36-year-old’s 18th Halfpipe World Cup podium. Before Saturday, the last time the Spaniard finished on a World Cup podium was when she won the Copper Halfpipe World Cup in December 2022.

Seventeen-year-old Gaon Choi (KOR) did not compete in Silvaplana but won the women’s Halfpipe Crystal Globe thanks to her three consecutive victories earlier in the season on her way to winning gold at Milano Cortina 2026.

Silvaplana marked the seventh and final Halfpipe World Cup of the 2025/26 FIS Park and Pipe season.
